Interior design

Large-scale interior design has been our daily work for 40 years. New or renovated spaces, they are unique in the image of our customers.

Interior design at CCHE offers the handling of a global project, from the study of circulation flow, spaces, and even the structure of the building to the finalization of the interior fittings and decoration.

Each project is considered in the broadest sense to be tailor-made for Man, taking into account all aspects related to ergonomics, light, acoustics and comfort techniques (HVAC).

Our multidisciplinary teams, made up of EPFL architects, HES or HEAD interior designers, consider each interior design with the aim of personalizing the place for its future occupants and not to satisfy a fashion trend. Listening is fundamental in order to make our client's project philosophy transpire in the final realization.

Transformation at CCHE is a way of approaching the project with its own rules. Through more than 40 years of experience, we approach each transformation with respect and consideration of the existing building to get the most out of it. Examples include the 2m2c in Montreux, Globus Lausanne and Geneva, Incyte in Morges or various transformations of residential buildings in occupied sites, mansions and industrial and administrative buildings). Our diagnostic techniques and 3D surveys allow us to quickly project spaces, which will be identical to their realizations.

Specialized in historical monuments (Bel-Air Tower, the "Crocs" colleges, the J.Tschumy building in rue Messisor in Lausanne and classified mansions), our constructive knowledge of the different eras and our respect for the built environment allow us not only to anticipate surprises but also to dialogue and move forward with the authorities to finalize the projects according to the wishes of our clients while anticipating costs and deadlines.

  • Stay up to date about market developments and the latest technologies
  • Master all project phases (planning, authorizations, execution of work, cost and schedule management, commissioning)
  • Pay particular attention to details at all levels (choice of materials, lighting, implementation)

Residential

The technology and comfort required have constantly shaped the typologies of housing, each room of a home has seen its dimensions and needs evolve over time.

We are on the threshold of a new evolution of housing, with engineering technologies and new building materials that allow a multitude of choices. There is no longer one model of living, but a multitude.

Once again, our ability to listen and the cross-disciplinary nature of our fields help us quickly understand and anticipate changes.

Public-Commercial

Whether it is a hotel, a shopping mall, or a hospital, the commonality is above all the management of a large number of people who do not necessarily have the same needs or demands.

The management of flows, mobility and possible nuisances are crucial themes to handle in order to give the population this impression of fluidity and necessity of the new program.

It is to crossroads, meeting places and multi-use spaces of the same entity that CCHE pays particular attention, so as not to risk saturation of the spaces. It is necessary to create unique atmospheres that touch, provoke emotion and give the user memories encouraging them to come back and experience this feeling.

From store fitting to the transformation of shopping centers, CCHE has been active for many years in the field of commercial and public architecture.

Education

Nowadays, the question is of reinventing the school and building an appropriate framework for it. Exchanges must be encouraged by sites, corridors become squares, students can see and be seen, playgrounds are transformed into public spaces and playgrounds to become the meeting point of youth who communicate and exchange through intermediary media.
