The new Suettaz district, which plans to replace a group of dilapidated dwellings by 4 new buildings offering 380 efficient and modern homes, has been put out to tender. Designed for its residents, the future district is laid out in blocks, leaving room for large, tree-lined inner courtyards of 700m2 and green spaces that encourage soft mobility. This development was widely approved by the population of Nyon in a popular vote in February 2020.
